This January, we are excited to welcome Andy Cutting to Ye Olde Cross for a day of workshops, followed by an evening concert.
Andy is an outstanding melodeon player having previously won BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best
Musician (2008, 2011, 2016).
He is known as a warm and emotive performer, engaging his audiences with his self-deprecating wit and staggering musicianship. Andy will be joined by North East melodeon player Dave Gray and current students on the Newcastle University Folk Music degree. This promises to be a fantastic evening with a real star of the Folk scene - all in your local community pub!
Places on the workshops are going fast with only a few remaining. The concert will start after 18:30 though exact time is to be confirmed.
