Ye Olde Cross Community Cinema meets in the upstairs function room of the pub on a monthly basis to see a wide range of enjoyable and interesting films selcted by members of the community.


£4 entry on the door - all are welcome. Space may be limited.

Thursday 28th October 2021, 7:30pm - Nomadland - Nomadland is a multi-award winning film (including Acadamy Award for Best Picture 2021) following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.


Thursday 25th November 2021, 7:30pm - In the Heights - Created by director Jon M Chu (Crazy Rich Asians) with Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) writing the music. In the Heights is a musical with song, dance, romance, escapism and community activism - What's not to like!


Thursday 24th February 2022, 7:00pm - Respect - Respect is an exciting film about the career of Aretha Franklyn. Starring the outstanding Jennifer Hudson, it charts Aretha's journey from singing in her father's church choir to international stardom. A true story of finding your voice.
